In the late 19th and early 20th century, William Randolph Hearst was the publisher, starting one of the largest newspaper and magazine companies in the entire world. Driven and successful, he was twice elected to the U.S. House of Representatives. Not surprisingly, Hearst attended Harvard. Surprisingly, he was expelled for gifting his professors chamber pots that had their names painted on the inside.
